JOUR 1:
Rendez vous avec votre guide à votre hôtel et départ pour ROUEN: capitale de la haute Normandie. Vous découvrirez les vieux quartiers, la cathédrale, le ”Gros Horloge” et la place du vieux marché où fut brûlée Jeanne d’Arc.
Déjeuner
L’après midi sera dédiée à la découverte des abbayes de la Seine : SAINT-MARTIN-DE-BOSCHERVILLE et JUMIEGES. Ces abbayes furent construites au 10ème et 11ème siècles et rappellent la richesse et le pouvoir des Moines Bénédictins de l’époque.
Retour à votre hôtel en fin de journée. Dîner et logement.
JOUR 2:
Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour la COTE FLEURIE. Passage sur le PONT DE NORMANDIE pour rejoindre HONFLEUR, destination privilégiée des personnages célèbres comme Claude Monet, Eugène Boudin ….Vous découvrirez le vieux port qui garde les traces d’un passé maritime prestigieux.
Déjeuner
L’après midi, route vers DEAUVILLE surnommée « reine des plages » à la Belle Epoque ! Cette « très chic » station a vu défiler sur ses fameuses “ Planches ”, véritables Champs Elysées Normands, tous les grands (et les moins grands !) de ce monde ! Casino, palaces et villas : autant de réminiscences des « années folles »... L’après-midi se poursuivra avec TROUVILLE : vous serez ici spectateurs dans un décor de vacances et dans les coulisses du romantisme !

Day 1:
Departure from the hotel for ROUEN : the capital of Upper Normandy. While you visit the old quarter of Rouen, you will discover the cathedral, the ”Gros Horloge” (great clock) and the old market square, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
Lunch
The afternoon will be dedicated to the well-known abbeys along the River Seine : SAINT-MARTIN-DE-BOSCHERVILLE and JUMIÈGES. These visits will enable you to note the power and the wealth of the Benedictine monks in Normandy, as well as, the development of these Romanesque abbeys throughout Normandy.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2:
After breakfast departure to the FLORAL COAST. To reach the city of Honfleur, you will drive across the world-famous NORMANDY BRIDGE, one of the most longest suspension bridges in the world. After crossing the River Seine, you will arrive in HONFLEUR, a favourite location among the impressionist painters, such as Claude Monet, Eugène Boudin, Isabey…On the way, you can admire the Old Harbour, from which many such painters took their inspiration. Whilst exploring Honfleur you will have the opportunity to visit Sainte Catherine’s church. This wooden church is unique because of its separate belfry.
Lunch
In the afternoon you will travel along the coast, crossing the golden triangle, that is to say the wealthiest part of Normandy. The luxuriant green countryside is home to the most attractive holiday villas of the region. You will arrive in DEAUVILLE and TROUVILLE, two renowned seaside resorts and meeting points of the international jet-set. Return to your hotel.
